The 'Aurora trio" is a project born from the desire of Aurora Arenare to want to experience the various sound facets of the trombone, unusual instrument and difficult to place outside an 'orchestra, bringing it into a modern souljazz musical context and highlighting its peculiar beauty, all too underestimated.
Aurora Arenare was born in Naples, approaching the trombone at 19 years thanks to the smuggling of Luciano Russo. He began studying the instrument with masters such as Roberto Bianchi, Roberto Schiano and Nicola Ferro. At the age of 25 he moved to Barcelona where he continued his musical studies and grew up artistically playing in various projects ranging from jazz to afrobeat.
