Marco Sannini is graduated in trumpet, jazz music and jazz composition (at the Berklee College of Music). Since the 1980s he has been carrying out intense activity as a soloist, composer and arranger in the fields of Jazz and European cultured music, participating in: Stratosphera (New York), Jazz Rallye (Brussels), La Batie (Geneva), Brechtforum (New York ), Rhino Jazz Festival (Lyon), collaborating among others with Jerry Bergonzi, Gianluigi Trovesi, David Murray, Michael Brecker, John Surman, Ernest Reiseger, Andy Middleton. He has participated in many recordings as a sideman and produced various CDs of his compositions; he is the author of numerous original projects, including Donna Regina (with Norma Winstone), Giulio Martino is born in Naples in 1961. He starts to play first the drums and then the piano. At the age of eighteen he switched to alto sax and later to tenor sax, deepening the technique with Steve Grossman and Jerry Bergonzi. Since then, Giulio Martino's career has been enriched by numerous and important collaborations with Italian and foreign musicians, above all Eliot Zigmud, Steve Smith, Miroslav Vitous, Daniel Humair Dusko Gojkovich, Gene Jackson, Norma Winstone, Peter Herskine.
