Giacomo Aula is the only Italian solo pianist ever invited in concert by Berlinale Filmfestival, in 2004 on the occasion of the victory of Silvio Soldini. He reached the international scene with the third album Looking Glass (produced by Philip Glass, from Todd Horton in New York) and spent a long time in Minneapolis, releasing in the United States with three other albums, one of which as composer. Well known are his collaborations with the evansiani Larry Schneider and Eliot Zigmund while his most recent group is HRK Hot Red Keys, multi-organic electric trio, tied to a rare Japanese organ in limited edition with a precious red-black livery. Real news is the entrance of the Aula as a composer in the theme soundtracks or on commission: this is the latest issue SARNO (Hope), for the trailer-environmental film by Luigi Rainone dedicated to the town in the North West of Salerno.
